Community Law Center is currently representing client, Historic Mount Royal Terrace Association - HMRTA in opposition of the request for additional parking spaces per the development of a grocery store in .

“While the most forceful argument in favor of this project has been the necessity of a grocery store along the WNADA [West North Avenue Development Authority] corridor, the argument in favor of the increased parking is the siting next to 83,” she said, pointing out that “the residents of WNADA’s 16 neighborhoods will not use 83 to access this grocery store."

The difficulty the developer claims derives from his choice to rely on “suburban land-use models developed in an era of abundant land, segregated uses and universal automobile dependence,” she argues.

Reminder: The Maryland Form 1 Annual Report is due, Wed. April 15!

If your organization is incorporated, make sure to complete this form by the deadline or request an extension so you DO NOT lose the organization's status. If an organization misses the filing date, it will first be listed as "not in good standing" and then eventually forfeited.

If the organization's status is forfeited, it would have to file another document and pay a fee to get its nonprofit status back.

You can find more information at https://dat.maryland.gov/pages/sdatforms.aspx, or request an extension at https://pprextensions.dat.maryland.gov.
