It's National Elder Law Month. Remember to slow down, verify suspicious messages, and legitimate organizations will NEVER ask for passwords or demand financial transfers over the phone. Fraudsters pretend to be trusted companies and rely on emotion and urgency to override logic. They may claim your bank account has been compromised, send fake texts from familiar brands, or impersonate a grandchild in trouble to quickly obtain personal information or money.
