⚖️ We were honoured to attend the Inns of Court Malaysia (ICM) 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner 2026 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, which was also graced by the presence of TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, as the Guest of Honour.

It was a memorable evening connecting with distinguished members of the judiciary, while also reconnecting with fellow members of the Bar.

We are grateful to have been part of this significant milestone.

Did you know? 🇲🇾

Malaysia is one of the very few countries in the world with a unique rotational monarchy system.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) is the Supreme Head of the Federation and is elected by the Conference of Rulers pursuant to Article 32(3) of the Federal Constitution every five years from among the rulers of the nine Malay states — making Malaysia’s constitutional monarchy truly distinctive.

As a constitutional monarch, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong plays an important constitutional role in Malaysia, including, among others, the appointment of the Prime Minister, appointment of judges, granting royal assent to laws passed by Parliament, serving as the Head of State, and acting as the Commander-in-Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces.

1 June 2026 marks the official birthday celebration of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong — a public holiday observed nationwide.

As we celebrate this occasion, it is also an opportunity to appreciate the history, constitutional framework, and cultural diversity that shape Malaysia.
