π¨ Police can now seize your vehicle without giving you a warning first.
Since 29th June 2026, police no longer have to issue a Section 59 warning before potentially seizing a vehicle where the legal requirements are met.
And since 22nd July 2026, the period before certain seized vehicles can potentially be disposed of has been reduced from 14 days to just 7.
