🚨 BIG NEWS: HOME OFFICE WITHDRAWS ASYLUM REFUSAL DECISION BEFORE TRIBUNAL HEARING FOR FAMILY OF FIVE! 🚨

We are delighted to share an outstanding result for our Nigerian client and his four dependants.

Before a Tribunal hearing date was even listed, the Home Office reviewed the detailed appeal work prepared by Rayan Adams Solicitors, including our carefully drafted Skeleton Argument and comprehensive Appeal Bundle.

Following that review, the Home Office formally withdrew its Asylum refusal decision, expressly confirming that the decision was “no longer appropriate”.

Even more importantly, the Home Office has confirmed that our client and his family are anticipated to be granted five years’ refugee status, subject only to any required final checks and the provision of any requested documents.

This excellent pre-hearing outcome means that the family are expected to receive the protection they need without having to endure the uncertainty and emotional strain of a fully contested Tribunal hearing.

🎉 **FLR(M) SUCCESS – UNMARRIED PARTNER ROUTE** 🎉

We are delighted to confirm that our client’s FLR(M) application has been granted under the **five-year partner route**.

Our client and their partner are **not legally married and have not registered a marriage**. The application was successfully made on the basis of their **genuine and subsisting relationship as unmarried partners**, supported by carefully prepared evidence of their relationship and shared life together.

Our client has been granted permission to remain in the UK until **25 February 2029**, with the right to work and study.

This successful outcome demonstrates that a registered marriage is not essential where an applicant qualifies as an unmarried partner and meets all the relevant Immigration Rules.

🇬🇧 Another British citizenship approval — and this one mattered.

Our client could not pass the B1 English language test. He could not pass the Life in the UK test. On the face of it, the Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK (KOLL) requirement was a closed door.

We did not accept that.

We applied for an exemption - the prescribed form, supported by detailed written legal representations setting out precisely why, on his circumstances, he could not reasonably be expected to meet either element.

Today the decision arrived: application approved, ceremony invitation issued.

The KOLL requirement is not absolute. Where the facts justify it, an exemption can be sought - but it must be properly evidenced and properly argued. It is not granted for the asking.
