🎉 I’m really pleased to share that a recent client of mine has had her British citizenship application approved 🇬🇧

My client an elderly lady who, at times, found the process overwhelming which is completely understandable. Applications like these can feel complex, technical and emotionally significant all at once.

☪️ Great to attend the third Manchester Muslim Lawyers Networking Event last week at the usual venue, Akbar’s in Manchester.

It was an enriching evening bringing together such a thoughtful and inspiring group of legal professionals. Events like this are a powerful reminder of the strength and value of community within the profession. The food was also great!

I really enjoyed making new connections and catching up with people I’ve met previously always good to reconnect and build on those relationships, Usman Anwar, Mohammed Hafejee, Ikram Malik, Bilal Ehsan, Adila Malik, Tahera Khan, Sara Jasmine Baig, Mohammed A Ali, Aziz Deen, Bilal Hussain, Asima Rana, Mudassar Iqbal, Ghazala Aziz, Rafih Khan and many others 🙌

We rise by lifting one another and it’s the people within the community who make it what it is.

I’m pleased to have helped secure a successful outcome for children born in the UK who had lived here for the first 10 years of their lives, making them eligible to register under section 1(4) of the British Nationality Act 1981.

British citizenship gives children stability, a sense of belonging, and the reassurance of being treated the same as their peers and of having the same opportunities.
