Last week, we as the Point B Legal team attended “Building Your Business in Britain”, an event hosted by Innovator International, one of the Home Office-approved endorsing bodies for the Innovator Founder visa.
What struck us most wasn’t just the content. It was the opportunity to sit in a private session with immigration specialists, and then meet actual founders navigating the route.
The conversations were real. The insights were valuable. The reality check was sobering.
If you are considering the Innovator Founder visa, here is what we learned:
Endorsers aren’t just gatekeepers, they are partners in your journey. They want your business to succeed. But they are also rigorous. They are assessing innovation, viability, scalability from day one.
Your business plan needs to be genuinely compelling. Generic won’t work. Founders who succeed are those who understand that endorsement isn’t the finish line, it’s the beginning.
The visa is achievable. But it requires clarity, credibility, and a realistic understanding of what it takes to build in the UK.
If you’re at that stage, thinking about the route, preparing your business plan, or ready to apply, we understand the landscape. We have seen what works and what doesn’t.
The Innovator Founder visa is a powerful route. It’s also one that demands respect and preparation.
If you want to explore whether it’s right for you, let’s talk.
