The government has recently announced reforms to prevent the misuse of the visa system. As a result, overseas students will be prohibited from switching from the student visa route to work routes until they have successfully completed their studies.

If you find yourself in a situation where you anticipate not being able to finish your course due to unforeseen circumstances, it is imperative that you act quickly to explore alternative options. Once the new policy is implemented, you will be required to complete your studies before being eligible to switch to a work visa.

New government restrictions to student visa routes will cut net migration while protecting the economic benefits students bring to the UK.

Our Hong Kong BN(O) visa has seen over 144,000 visas been granted so far.

From today eligible Hong Kongers who were born on or after 1 July 1997 can apply for the visa independently of their BN(O) parents.

BNO Visa故事
由開始有BNO Visa到而家，經過我手處理嘅BNO申請已經超過100個。經過客人同意之後，我想分享吓呢一個故事。

七月份時收到W先生一個查詢電話，香港人入境英國被拒，佢並無原機折返，被保釋後就聯絡我啦。當時聽到呢個查詢電話，我都相當驚訝，香港護照持有人，免簽證國家入英國，應該冇問題Y，點解會被拒入境嘅呢？

W先生同好多BNO Visa申請者一樣，主申請人嘅Visa批出左，但係佢作為Dependent就一直都收唔到decision letter，所以決定過咗嚟英國先算，點知入境嘅時候，發現其實佢個Visa已經被refused 咗，但係佢一路都冇收到decision email。 而佢冇收到Decision email嘅原因，係相當詭異㗎！

其實除咗用唔好彩嚟形容呢件事，更加令到我想同大家分享嘅原因，係我想講BNO Visa係根據英國嘅移民法例來審批，而唔係啲根據KOL or YouTuber成功案例作為批核準則。

網上流傳好多BNO懶人包、攻略，而好多香港人都會深信一啲youtuber 成功個案，其中有人分享過未同居夠兩年而成功以unmarried partner身份申請BNO dependent Visa, 相信好多人都有聽過。我唔係質疑個案嘅真實性，但唔係有d嘢～你得我都得啦，因為每個人嘅背景唔一樣，提供嘅資料唔一樣，所以結果都會唔一樣。。

W先生就誤信以為未同居夠兩年都可以成功以unmarried partner 身份申請，所以就仿效Youtuber 嘅做法，咁當然就係令到成件事複雜咗好多倍啦，佢經歷咗被拒入境，被served Removal Directions, 佢當時好擔心之後自己會唔會冇機會再嚟英國呢？

經過一番折騰，W先生今日嚟到英國時，再次被截停，當然，今日嘅遭遇同上次好唔一樣，佢已經順利入境嚟英國展開佢嘅新生活喇。。我亦都希望喺呢度對尼位client 送上深深嘅祝福，希望你哋喺英國生活、工作樣樣順利。。

早前收到客戶查詢，如果喺英國境外申請左BNO Visa, 但入境時申請正處於pending （待審批）狀態，入境英國無幾耐之後收到Email 通知BNO Visa已經成功批出，係咪需要出境再入境呢？

我地終於收到Home Office 回覆，除非UKVI 聯絡你，要求你作進一步行動，如果唔係，要出境再入境Activate 個Visa係屬於謠傳。

希望尼個資訊可以解答到大家既疑慮⋯⋯
