Courtroom Drama Unfolds – A Real-Life Road Traffic Trial
Earlier this month, we brought the courtroom to life at Bartlett Group . Using a real fatal traffic case, we explored the critical legal decisions made at every stage: from roadside interviews to cross-examination in court.
““We were very pleased to welcome a full house to our recent Motor Fleet Mock Trial, held at our offices in Broadway Hall. The event, which was open to clients and other interested parties, received very positive feedback from all who attended, raising some thought-provoking issues in an informative, interactive and well-presented session. The morning event demonstrated how partnering with industry experts can provide effective risk management strategies and training opportunities to ensure a better and safer working environment. Our thanks to Charlotte and Andrew for “bringing to life” the need for thorough safety, compliance, and best practice initiatives. Thanks to all who attended and took part – we hope to see you again at future events and illustrate how broker led collaboration and effective risk management strategies can help protect yourself, your drivers and your brand.” - Ian Hesselden , Director, Corporate Risks, Bartlett
LMP Legal Founder, Charlotte Le Maire, agreed, “Seeing the audience so engaged - questioning, reflecting, and genuinely grappling with the legal realities of a fatal road traffic incident - was exactly what we hoped to achieve. It’s proof that educating through experiencing a live court case can truly resonate. If just one company director or driver walks away thinking differently about their responsibilities, then we've made a real difference.”
The message on the day was clear: understanding your legal duties isn’t optional - it’s essential.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Your engagement, questions and reflections made the event such a success.
