We are delighted to welcome our new cohort of trainees who joined VWV this week across our Bristol, Birmingham, Watford and London offices.

This year’s group brings a fantastic mix of talent, enthusiasm and fresh perspectives to the firm. We are also pleased to see two familiar faces, Juvairia Ahmad and Hadeal Nassar progressing from their roles as paralegals into their training contracts.

Although the photo features just four of our new trainees, we are proud to introduce all twelve members of this year’s cohort:

Birmingham: Nabil Ould-Dada
Bristol: Sophie Binks, Klara Czuraj, Jack Beaumont, Holly Neal, Chloe Bowden
London: Chloe Hughes, Jelena Djuricic, Juvairia Ahmad
Watford: Natalia Greed, Trisha Allie, Hadeal Nassar

A warm welcome to everyone starting their training journey with us. We look forward to supporting you and seeing all you achieve in the months ahead.

Last week some of our more energetic lawyers spent an afternoon supporting the Alzheimer’s Society’s charity netball tournament, hosted by RSM UK.

A big thank you to RSM for organising such an enjoyable event and to our teammates from Rathbones for joining forces with us. It’s always a pleasure working alongside trusted partners and intermediaries, both on and off the court.

We’re proud to have helped raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society while enjoying some friendly competition. Well played to everyone who took part!

A fantastic week of early career talent joining us at VWV Law.

We were thrilled to welcome Daniel and Tara who have begun their six‑week internship through the 10,000 Black Interns programme.

They’ll be based in Bristol and visiting our Watford, Birmingham and London offices as they experience the variety of work and people that make VWV what it is.

Alongside them, Stepan and Mary from UCL spent a week in our London office exploring different practice areas and joining our Commercial Litigation team for a visit to the Royal Courts of Justice.

Stepan told us: “Property Litigation and Innovation were the highlights for me!” Mary shared: “The Legal Launchpad Scheme was incredibly educational and eye‑opening… Everyone was very friendly and dedicated to providing a great experience.”

At VWV, we’re committed to opening doors for aspiring lawyers and future professionals. Supporting early talent is an important part of who we are, and we’re proud to help shape the next generation of legal minds.

If you’re considering your future in law, VWV is a place where you can grow.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding sporting achievements of our Corporate Partner, Susie Luckman, who has been selected to represent Great Britain in target r***e shooting in international competition across Canada and the USA this summer.

Target r***e shooting is a demanding precision sport, with competitors shooting at distances of 300 to 1,000 yards. Susie has been dedicated to the discipline since the age of 16, earning early recognition with a cadet tour to Canada at 18 and later captaining the Great Britain Under‑25s team. She has represented England on tours around the world, from Australia and South Africa to North America but this year marks a particularly special milestone as she achieves her long‑awaited full GB cap.

After taking time away from elite competition while raising her family, Susie returned to the sport with determination, and her recent performances at county level and in the British Open have secured her place on the GB team. She’ll be competing alongside fellow NQS consultant, James Postle, and has also been selected for the GB training squad for the prestigious 2028 Palma match.

👏 Everyone at VWV is cheering Susie on and wishing her every success as she represents her country. Her dedication, resilience and passion are truly inspiring both on the range and in her work with clients.

Great energy, great company, and some even better photos of Birmingham along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part.
