We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Solicitor/Coveyancer/Legal Executive within our residential property department at our Bedford office.

This is a full- time role benefiting from the support of an experienced and friendly team, advising a broad range of clients. This role would be best suited for someone with a minimum 5 PQE and there are excellent career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to conduct their own caseload, whilst assisting other fees earners in providing a quality legal service to the firm’s clients. The role will include but is not limited to the following:

• Sales and purchases of residential freehold and leasehold property and land
• Property refinancing
• Transfers of Equity
• Equity Release Mortgages

On Sunday 13th September, our Commercial Property Solicitor Ben Abubacker joined a record-breaking 63,000 runners on the streets of Newcastle for the AJ Bell Great North Run.

Ben was running for a very personal reason, raising over £1,100 for Alzheimer's Society in memory of his Grandad.

The Great North Run was also an important part of Ben’s training for his next challenge - the Munich Marathon on 11th October. 🇩🇪

We’re incredibly proud of Ben for taking on these challenges while raising money and awareness for such an important cause. Well done, Ben - and good luck for Munich! 👏🏃‍♂️

We are seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our dynamic and supportive property team. This is a full-time role based at our Bedford office.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Department.
• Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and contracts.
• Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and liaising with clients and third parties.
• Handling Land Registry applications and requisitions, SDLT submissions, and Companies House filings.
