(Meet the Team)

Meet Sarah Youssef, She is a senior LL.B. student at Alexandria University. Sarah has started her civil work journey at a young age, with projects resembling political and social aspects that enhanced her mindset through knowledge and various skills. Some of these projects target soft skills and other aim to develop political background through simulation model of organs and unions like UN Security Council and The African Union. To cut it short, you'd be surprised of how easily she can win any debate.

Sarah is fluent in French you 'll even think it's her first language, she also speaks English and Arabic. If we can describe Sarah in one word, it would be "a perfectionist". She'll get mad if a comma is not in the right place or if a word is colored in a color slightly brighter than black, no matter how hard we try to convince her that it is still black. That's why she's the one to rely on to track Memorandum's consistency.

Sarah is a very quiet person, however she chooses her words wisely, and she can never control her face expressions. Her face literally says it all.

Meet Nada Nabil, a senior LL.B. student at Alexandria University. Despite her young age, she has shown outstanding results in her academic studies. What Nada enjoys most is learning about commercial arbitration from top practitioners in the field. Nada is really committed to whatever she gets her hands on, that's why she's the one to rely on whenever there's a legal fact we're missing!

Nada has a special talent of seeing the bright side to any chaos, you can never get on her nerves as she's always so calm. Even during pleadings, you'll find her smiling no matter what happens. However, don't let that fool you into thinking she'll go easy with her arguments, as her smile is just a sign of confidence she'll win anyway.

Nada is also fond of cooking, she even brings her homemade biscuits and cake to team meetings and trips. She's such a social butterfly that loves to make new friends, yet again she loves to stay home as much as possible.

(Meet the team)

Meet Mohamed, an LL. M. student at Alexandria University. He has previously participated in national moot competitions and his team has made it to the first place. Mohamed has developed an interest in Public Law and Public International Law and he has enrolled in diplomas in both of them. He is looking forward to improving his legal knowledge in international law by participating in the Vis Moot. Thus, he is the ideal counsel for this year’s problem!

Mohamed is the oldest member in the team, and this can be easily noticed from how he takes care of all team members and most importantly, he makes sure that we're always properly fed, that's why he considers that choosing the right place for us to eat is his responsibility. No team-trip goes by without him making sure that we have enough snacks, so yes that's right, food is the second best thing in his life, as the first best thing is mooting obviously.

Mohamed is known for having the ability to make a joke of every moment, that's why we have a hard time to keep a serious face around him.

Whenever Mohamed is out of reach, we know for sure he is either camping in the desert, or cycling by the sea.

Meet Mai Ibrahim, an LL.M. Student at Alexandria University. Mai is known for being a hardworking, smart person with a great passion to study law. In addition to being the top of her class and having a well-established academic knowledge in law, she also maintained her practical knowledge by getting internships at top-tier law firms in Egypt. She previously participated in various moot competitions and showed an impressive performance which was crowned by achieving the best oralist award.

Mai always does her work with full dedication and audacity and that is why she has the team’s full confidence. She has a funny and amiable personality beside being unflappable and keeping a cool head in pleadings’ time by listening to music which drives us mad in time of crisis:’)

Despite being stereotyped as a nerd, Mai is very outgoing person, she loves hanging out, visiting new places, making new friends, and always gives compliments!
She is also a great person to work with, as she is very supportive and always offers help, that’s why we say whenever in trouble, just call Mai!

Mai considers capturing every moment of the team is her main duty. She never fails to take stupid pictures and silly videos of us that we do our best to prevent her from posting them on social media.

Lina Abdelaziz, a senior LL.B. student at Alexandria University. Lina is the Team's polyglot, she speaks 4 languages, English, French, Italian and Arabic. She has also interned at top-tier law firms in Egypt.

Lina is very smart, in addition to being the most neat person you could possibly meet, both personal and professional wise. That's why she's always the one who spots any minor inconsistency.

Besides being an athlete, she's known to be an earlybird. She believes that a healthy lifestyle is the key to success, and sugar is her worst enemy.

Despite her innocent looks and being very approachable in real life, Lina is very competitive. She's definitely a play hard/work hard kind of counsel.

You can seek her to get something done or else for fun, either way, she wont turn you down.

Ingy Ihab, a senior LL.B. student at Alexandria University. Her multitasking abilities are very impressive, as she interned at top tier law firms in Egypt, and participated in various moot competitions, all besides maintaining high grades in her studies.

She is also brillant talented in many ways, and a sports enthusiast. In her free time, Ingy practices rowing. Ingy is also a pet person, she'll always find a way to tell you about her cat oreo and how she rescued it the minute you start talking to her.

To say that Ingy is one of the funniest people you will ever meet would be an understatement, she is the meme queen and always has the best comeback ever, that's why her rebuttals are always dead-center.

Meet our student coach, Asmaa Elmalky, a senior student at Faculty of Law, Alexandria University. Asmaa interned at various law firms, regarding her mooting experience, she participated in 27th Willem C. Vis Moot and this year, she served as an arbitrator in many pre-moots and in the 28th Welliem C. Vis moot. She is the most enthusiastic, supportive, trusting, focused, and knowledgeable coach you can have. Asmaa is a unique person from many aspects, starting from her distinguished style, to her music taste, to the food she likes. We love to call her the "veg-coach", as she is a vegetarian, who makes us feel guilty each time we go for burger.

a second year student at faculty of law, Alexandria University. Mariam is always eager to learn more that she joined mooting activities since her first year in college. Mariam has a very good command of English, that we appoint her as a copyrighter to our memos and pleadings scripts. Aiming to develop herself, Mariam is a very cooperative team member, she is always open for critism and is here for any role the team needs her for, even a day before her exam.
Side important note, Mariam adores cats, so whenever you're around her, identify them as humans or you're their food!

an LL. M student at faculty of law, Alexandria University. Mohamed is the best when it comes to research, he always surprises us with the amount of information and caselaws he gets. Mohamed is punctilious and very organized. In addition to his studies in arbitration, Mohamed is keen to participate in different moot courts competition. Mohamed is a real perfectionist that he never gets satisfied with his performance, regardless of how much we assure him that he did well.

an LL. M student at faculty of law, Alexandria University. Mohamed is the best when it comes to negotiations, evading questions and presenting his ideas. He always comes up with convenient solutions to any problems we face. Cats are Mohamed's best friends, especially his cat "lassa". He is also foodie, that's why he is responsible for ordering food for us whenever we meet. At the same time, he is obsessed by working out, not only in gym, but even during the meetings.

a senior student at Faculty of law, Alexandria University. Yosra is an outdoorsy person, she loves to hangout, visit new places, and get into adventures. Yosra is also a multitasking person. She has participated in different moot court competitions and coached in some. She always tries to improve her skills by enrolling in courses and applying for internships.
