At this point, we barely had to say anything. 😄🇨🇦

This was a client whose:

✅ PR was approved through us
✅ Spouse’s PR was approved through us
✅ And now, their parents’ visa has been approved too

So when we called with the update...

They already knew what the call was about. 😂

Moments like these remind us that immigration isn’t just about applications and paperwork.

It’s about helping families stay together, reunite, and build their future in Canada.

Congratulations to our amazing clients and their family on yet another approval! 🎉

She was already dealing with a PR refusal. 🇨🇦

But that wasn’t even the biggest problem.

Her work permit was set to expire in the next two months...

And she had never applied for a Bridging Open Work Permit.

Like many applicants, she assumed:

“My PR will be approved. I won’t need it.”

Then the refusal came.

Now she’s back in the Express Entry pool, recalculating her CRS score, while also worrying about maintaining her legal status in Canada.

The reality is simple:

✅ PR applications can be delayed.
✅ PR applications can be refused.

But your legal status is not something you should ever gamble with.

The best immigration decisions are often made before an emergency happens.

If your PR application has already been submitted and your permit is expiring soon, make sure you understand your options before it’s too late.

If you’re planning to bring your parents to Canada and need guidance with the application process, we’re here to help.

PR in as little as 6 months? 🇨🇦

Yes — but only if you qualify.

Many people are focused only on Express Entry and CRS scores, while completely missing other immigration pathways that may be available to them.

One such pathway is through New Brunswick’s strategic initiatives, where eligibility depends on factors such as:
✔️ Your occupation
✔️ Your age
✔️ Your language ability
✔️ Meeting the program requirements

The biggest mistake?

Following random information online without checking whether you actually qualify.

In immigration, the right pathway can make all the difference.

Want to know if your occupation is eligible and whether you may qualify?

“Avinash had two previous refusals, right?” 😳

The moment our client heard that, she was expecting bad news.

And honestly, after multiple refusals, most people do.

But this call had a different ending. 🇨🇦

✅ APPROVED

Previous refusals can make a new application more challenging, but they do not automatically mean another refusal.

The key is understanding what went wrong, addressing those concerns properly, and building a stronger application.

The best part of our job is hearing reactions like this when clients realize their approval has finally arrived. 🎉

Congratulations to Priyanka and Avinash on this amazing result!

If you have previous refusals and are unsure about your next step, don’t assume your immigration journey is over.

A small mistake in your Express Entry profile can delay—or even ruin—your PR application. 🇨🇦

And honestly?

These mistakes are more common than you think.

❌ Choosing the wrong NOC code based on your job title instead of your actual duties.

❌ Submitting weak or incomplete documents after receiving your ITA.

❌ Claiming work experience that doesn’t actually qualify.

Today’s PR process is far more competitive than it was a few years ago. Every detail matters, and even a small oversight can put your application at risk.

The good news?

Most of these mistakes are avoidable with the right guidance.

Before you submit your profile or PR application, make sure your strategy is as strong as your score.

“Your mom’s case was a little risky…” 😅

The moment we said that, our client was already preparing for bad news.

After all, when a case is complicated, that’s usually where your mind goes.

But this call had a different ending. 🇨🇦

✅ Application Approved

The best part?

The surprise was completely real.

Sometimes a file may look challenging, have multiple concerns, or require extra attention. But that doesn’t mean the outcome can’t be positive.

That’s why every application deserves the right strategy and careful preparation.

Congratulations to Taranjit and her family on this approval! 🎉

Waiting for immigration decisions can be stressful, but moments like these make it all worth it.

Don’t take immigration lightly. 🇨🇦

A lot of people think changing their job title, duties, or employment details will make their PR application stronger.

But that’s exactly where serious problems can begin.

We recently reviewed a PFL case where the officer clearly stated that they were not satisfied with the applicant’s claimed work experience.

The issue?

The applicant was doing one job but claiming another.

And even though the employer supported the letter, IRCC still questioned the experience.

Today, immigration officers don’t just review documents.

They may verify:
✔️ your employer
✔️ your work experience
✔️ your job duties
✔️ your workplace
✔️ and sometimes even former colleagues

Work experience verification is becoming more detailed than ever, both inside and outside Canada.

Providing inaccurate job duties or misleading employment information can result in:
❌ PFL
❌ Refusal
❌ Misrepresentation findings
❌ A potential 5-year ban

The best strategy is simple:

Be truthful. Be accurate. Be consistent.

If you’re preparing your PR application and want to make sure your work experience is properly documented, contact AskEra Immigration.

"Your mom had a previous refusal, right?" 🇨🇦

Sometimes that's all it takes to make a client nervous.

When you've already faced a visa refusal, every new update feels stressful. You start wondering...

"What if it gets refused again?"

But this time, the call brought different news.

✅ Application Approved

One refusal doesn't always define the outcome of your next application. The key is understanding why the refusal happened and addressing those concerns properly before reapplying.

Congratulations to Preeti and her family on this approval! 🎉

If you or your family member has faced a previous refusal, don't assume it's the end of the road.

Think getting an ITA means the hard part is over? Think again. 🇨🇦

Today, IRCC is reviewing applications more closely than ever.

They’re not just checking your profile.

They’re verifying:
✔️ Whether your employer is real
✔️ Whether the business address exists
✔️ Whether your job duties actually match your NOC code
✔️ Whether your work experience is verifiable

And that’s why many applicants are receiving unexpected Procedural Fairness Letters (PFLs).

Imagine receiving your ITA, submitting your PR application, and then being asked to prove that your employer exists or that your job duties match your claimed NOC.

At that point, every document matters.

The reality is simple:

It’s no longer enough to submit documents.
Everything must be aligned, accurate, and verifiable.

If you’re at the ITA stage or have received a PFL, don’t leave your application to chance.
