So, picture this: April 10, 2024, the General Draw pops up, inviting 1,280 eager candidates to the party. But wait, the CRS cut-off decides to take a leap from 524 to 549, leaving some poor souls stranded on the platform, waving sadly as the lucky ones board the immigration train. 🚂

And then, out of nowhere, on April 11, 2024, the STEM Occupations (2024-1) Draw bursts onto the scene, showering 4,500 invites like confetti at a carnival! 🎉 But hold on a second...what if the STEM Draw decided to crash the party a day earlier? Imagine the shuffle! Those 4,500 candidates could've been out of the pool, opening up space for more in the General Draw. Talk about shaking up the numbers! More General Category Candidates would've scored invites in the General Draw following the STEM extravaganza.
