Let's call it what it is.
The "TR-to-PR 2026" announcement was not a new program. Not a new pathway. Not a fresh start for everyone waiting in Canada.
It's an internal acceleration of files already submitted under PNP, AIP, Rural Pilots, Caregiver Pilots, and Agri-Food Pilot — for workers in smaller communities.
That's the whole story.
What we got instead was months of speculation, hype, and unfortunately — people getting misled, misguided, and even scammed by those promising a "new pathway" that was never coming.
Canada deserves better from the Immigration Minister.
