Where did the time go…
Today marks 40 years in real estate, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey.
I started in 1986 with Canada Trust Real Estate. My dad, Vic Fleming, was a bank appraiser for over 40 years, and I originally thought I would follow that path. Taking appraisal courses early on gave me a strong foundation and shaped how I’ve approached very home since.
From 1986 to 1994, I grew my career with Canada Trust, finishing as Broker/Manager. I then moved to Touchstone Real Estate, continuing in a leadership role until the company closed. In 1996, I joined RE/MAX Mountain View and have proudly been there ever since.
Looking back, I only wish I had started with RE/MAX from the beginning.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of buyers and sellers, many of them more than once. Now, being trusted by the next generation of those same families is something I don’t take lightly.
Real estate is a trust business. Take care of people, guide them honestly, and protect them in the details, and they will come back and refer others.
None of this would have been possible without my faith and the incredible support of my wife, Vanessa Fleming. Behind everything I’ve accomplished is her encouragement and strength.
Two of our 9 children, Austin Fleming and Justice Fleming, are now realtors, and Brandon Fleming has supported so much behind the scenes.
To all my clients, friends, family, and builders over the years, thank you. I truly appreciate your trust and support.
If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change being in Realestate.
Here’s to what’s ahead.
