Spring fever is officially hitting me, and I’m finally feeling that familiar urge to get back outside and reclaim my favorite green spaces.

There is honestly nothing like those first few days of real sunshine to get me excited about patio time or heading out to explore spots like Nose Hill and Fish Creek again.

Whether I’m planning a long stroll through Prince’s Island, a scenic bike ride around the Glenmore Reservoir with the kids, or just firing up the grill for the first time this season, I am so ready to embrace the fresh air.

For me, it’s the perfect moment to reconnect with nature right here in the city and turn my own backyard back into a private sanctuary.
