We’re seeing a spike in traffic infringements where drivers are fined because a passenger wasn’t wearing their seatbelt correctly.

I recently the absolute privilege of presenting to the Legal Studies students at Oran Park Anglican College and honestly, the future is bright. ⚖️✨

We spoke about:
• My journey building Renee Roumanos Legal from the ground up
• Why studying law is such a powerful life skill, even outside the courtroom
• Real-life legal disputes involving celebrities, contracts and social media
• NSW road rules and legal traps for young drivers 🚗
• The reality of running a modern law firm, balancing motherhood, business and purpose

The best part? The students were SO engaged, curious and full of questions that I had 10+ students asking for work experience opportunities immediately after the presentation. 🙌

That level of enthusiasm reminded me exactly why education matters so much to me. Law (and legal studies) is not just about legislation and courtrooms, it’s about people, problem solving, confidence and protecting others.

How lucky are these students to have the opportunity to study Legal Studies!

Before transferring any funds or responding to urgent payment requests, always take a moment to verify who you are communicating with.

A small spelling change in an email address or a last minute update to banking details could be the difference between a legitimate request and fraud.

At Renee Roumanos Legal, we encourage all clients, referrers and stakeholders to remain extra vigilant when communicating electronically, especially during property and financial transactions.
