Steele + Co are responding as proactively as we can to the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and care about the welfare of our clients, employees and our community. At this stage, we are still operating our normal business hours using a combination of staff working from home and at our business premises.

We are able to offer telephone and a variety of video call options to our clients and others dealing with our firm.

If you are unwell with flu-like symptoms, or if you have travelled overseas recently or if you have been in contact with anyone at risk of having contracted COVID-19 we request you contact us by phone for a discussion as to how we can best assist you. If you are well and not at risk, and you do need to attend our office, please know that we have implemented additional measures to keep our office as clean and hygienic as possible. To help us in this, we ask that you keep at least one and a half metre distance between yourself and our staff, and that you use the hand sanitiser provided. This weekend we have Mental Health First Aid Australia, a not-for-profit organisation, running a two day course in our office.
This is an educational course, not a support group or therapy. The aim of the course is to provide practical skills to recognise common mental health problems and provide initial help.
45% of all Australians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. 54% of those people do not access any treatment.
