Photographs taken immediately after a car crash can help shape a legal claim. Here's what personal injury attorneys suggest you do if conditions are safe and you are well enough to capture photographs:

1️⃣ The wide shot. Capture the whole scene from a few angles before cars are moved (final resting position of vehicles, traffic signals, skid marks, debris, and road conditions).

2️⃣ Close-up of vehicle damage. Damage patterns tell the story of how a crash happened.

3️⃣ Injuries. Photograph visible injuries right away.

Bonus tips:
✅ Take more photos than you think you need, and add a quick video walk-around.
✅ Don’t discuss fault or post the photos on social media.
✅ Get checked by a doctor even if you feel fine. Injuries can be masked by adrenaline.

MYTH vs FACT: Personal Injury

❌ MYTH: "If I didn't go to the ER right away, my case is ruined."

✅ FACT: Delayed medical treatment doesn't automatically kill your claim, but gaps in care can be used by insurance companies to argue your injuries "weren't that serious."

Our advice: Visit a medical facility as soon as you are able and get copies of all your medical records. Documentation is valuable.
