Most executor mistakes start with good intentions. Someone is trying to move the process along, keep everyone happy, and do what they think is right.

Then they find out a creditor should have been paid first. Or a tax issue was overlooked. Or a distribution was made too early.

By that point, fixing the problem can be a lot harder than avoiding it in the first place.

Our new video explains why getting guidance early can save executors a lot of stress later on. Watch now here:

Always learning, always growing. 📚

Catherine and Alison recently attended a MassHealth planning workshop where they had the chance to connect with other legal professionals, share experiences, and discuss different approaches to MassHealth planning and spend-down strategies.

The workshop also covered important updates, recent cases, and legislative developments, including the “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act”, that may affect how MassHealth eligibility is determined in the future.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to stay current, rethink our strategies, and continue finding the best ways to help our clients navigate long-term care planning!
