Whittier Bar Association's primary goal is to enable lawyers to improve themselves as counselors, as Our meetings are held on the 4th Friday of each month.

The WBA is fortunate to have an active, informed and committed Board and a membership eager to meet and address the significant issues which impact our profession and our community. The Whittier Bar Association's primary goal remains to be discovering ways to improve ourselves as lawyers, as individuals, and as mentors to the next generation of attorneys and counselors at law. As a member of the W

hittier Bar Association, you will have the opportunity to obtain CLE credits on diverse topics designed to expand your knowledge of the law itself, the effect of the law locally and globally, and ways to improve your practice and your life. The WBA is, by design, a close-knit group of attorneys who look forward to the opportunity to assist, advise, and network with each other and its new members. We hope you can join us!

It is with a heavy heart we found out about the passing of one our long time supporter and member Miguel Garcia. Miguel was a trailblazer who paved the path for consititutional rights. A few years ago he led an MCLE where he discussed his journey toward the "Pitchess motion" and several other landmark cases.
The Whittier Bar Association hosted a moment of silence in his honor at yesterday's holiday party. Miguel Garcia, present! Rest in paradise.
