Have you ever sat in a courtroom and looked around at the lawyers? Some command the room the second they walk in. Others… not so much.
Have you ever wondered what a jury thinks?
Here’s the truth: juries are human. They evaluate everything. Confidence. Presence. Credibility. Preparation. The way you carry yourself matters.
Strong physical health often translates to strong mental health. And a lawyer who is mentally and physically disciplined projects confidence—not just to their client, but to a jury. In 2026, it takes a lot more than a law degree to win cases. Trial work is performance, preparation, strategy, and presence.
You can have a 9 out of 10 case—almost impossible to lose—and the wrong lawyer can still screw it up. And don’t even get me started on the out-of-state referral mills pretending they’re local.
So how am I spending my Sunday morning?
Cycling before sunrise. Playing in a golf tournament. Chasing 15,000 steps. Working on becoming physically and mentally stronger than I was yesterday.
Why?
Because tomorrow I go back to battle against insurance companies that spend millions trying to pay my clients as little as possible.
Before you hire a lawyer, ask yourself one simple question:
“If I were sitting on a jury, would I trust this person to fight for me—and would I want to award their client money?”
Who you hire matters.
