A female driver without a right hand was accused of using a cellphone while driving. However, she did not have a right hand. After showing the officer that she did not have a right hand, the officer continued to question her and issued her a $116 citation, which was later dismissed at the request of the officer involved.
The determination of some officers to find something wrong happens more often than most people think.
This is one reason why we have juries rather than simply taking an officer’s word as fact.
