Our first Signature Event during Watershed Weekend is Thursday, June 11 as The Arts Commission hosts Art Loop: Starburst along the riverfront, and there's a lot to take in.

Stroll the Glass City Riverwalk as live music, dance performances, hands-on artmaking and an international vendor fair fill the newly restored International Cove at Glass City Metropark – Upriver.

This the debut of Starburst, a 15-foot illuminated sculpture featuring community-inspired phrases in multiple languages, a reflection of the many voices that make Toledo home.

🥳🌳Celebrate a milestone moment in Toledo as Metroparks Toledo hosts Watershed Weekend, June 11 through 14, 2026.

This four-day celebration along the Glass City Riverwalk marks the halfway point of this transformative riverfront project, inviting the community to experience the progress together along the Maumee River. What was once an industrial shoreline has evolved into vibrant public space, from Glass City Metropark to International Cove and newly connected pathways across both sides of the river.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy a lineup of signature events spanning art, music, outdoor recreation, and community gatherings, all set against the backdrop of Toledo’s reimagined riverfront. It’s a chance to celebrate how far the city has come and be part of what’s still to come.
