Meet Jody Moore, founding partner of Moore Hutchins Moore.
“I’ve been practicing law since 1997, and elder abuse has been my world since 1999 — the same year Delaney v. Baker became the first published case to interpret California's then-new Elder Abuse Act. I opened my own practice in 2000, back when this whole area of law was still being written.
In a lot of ways, I grew up as a lawyer right alongside it — watching the law take shape case by case, statute by statute, right from the start. I've spent 25 years in courtrooms across California, fighting for families whose loved ones were failed by the very people entrusted to care for them. That kind of longevity means I don't just know the law — I've watched it evolve, and I understand why it exists.
Today, at Moore Hutchins Moore, I bring that history and depth of experience to every family we represent. This work has always been personal to me, and it still is."
