Jorge graduated with a 3.9 GPA from Le Moyne College, where he was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. Besides being very involved in campus activities, Jorge interned with the Onondaga County Court system. Jorge speaks fluent Spanish and English.

Please welcome our new Associate Attorney (Pittsford, N.Y. , office) Shane Kelly. Shane graduated from Syracuse University College of Law where he was an editor of the Syracuse Law Review and his article was selected for publication. He earned his bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo. Shane was an Associate at Norfolk Beier and served as a Corporate Counsel for Bed Bath & Beyond. Prior to law school, Shane worked as paralegal and office manager of a 43-employee Rochester law firm, overseeing daily operations.

Outside of the office, Shane enjoys reading and exploring the beauty of the Finger Lakes region and can often be found hiking local trails or kayaking. Above all, Shane values spending time with his wife, their daughter, and their dog, Sally.

Please welcome our Summer Law Clerk Rachel Jessie. Rachel is a 1L at Syracuse University College of Law and graduated magna cm laude from SUNY Geneseo. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. During undergrad she was a Senior Resident Assistant, interned at the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, and was a Summer History Fellow at the Onondaga Historical Association. Rachel graduated from Liverpool High School, where she received an Advanced Regents Diploma and was on the swim team.

We are proud to support the Buffalo Music Club's Borderland Band Camp -- a summer music camp for middle- and high-school students with a big goal - to share the stage with professional musicians for two live performances, culminating in a spot on the Homespun Stage at the Borderland Music + Arts Festival in East Aurora, New York. The Sportsmens Americana Music Foundation is also hosting a fundraising event at Sportsmens Tavern - see photo for details.

Please welcome our new Senior Family Law Paralegal Ariella Hutton. Ariella served as Chief Paralegal / Special Urban Investigator for the Monroe County, NY Public Defender's Office, from which she brings over a decade of experience supporting complex family-law matters while providing leadership, operational oversight, and high-level legal support to attorneys and staff. She managed a demanding caseload in one of the region’s busiest legal environments, helping ensure cases were prepared thoroughly, efficiently, and ready for trial. She earned her bachelor's degree, cm laude, from Rochester Institute of Technology.

At home, Ariella is a proud mom of two. She is currently balancing the excitement of her oldest child’s high school graduation and transition to college with the busy schedule of her youngest’s sporting events. Her household is kept lively by her two rescue dogs—Brisket, an English bulldog, and Pico, a “formerly homeless” puppy who keeps everyone on their toes.

She enjoys traveling, cooking international cuisine, gardening, and tackling DIY home-remodeling projects.
