Please welcome our new Legal Assistant Matt Sweeney. Matt earned his bachelor's degree from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District High School. He is ranked 8th in the United States and 23rd in the World in his IRONMAN age group and races for Live Like Liam Foundation. He has worked at the Cavalry Club and Onondaga Golf & Country Club.

Please welcome our new Estate Planning Legal Assistant (NY offices) Jorge Gonzalez. Jorge graduated with a 3.9 GPA from Le Moyne College, where he was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. Besides being very involved in campus activities, Jorge interned with the Onondaga County Court system. Jorge speaks fluent Spanish and English.

Please welcome our new Associate Attorney (Pittsford, N.Y. , office) Shane Kelly. Shane graduated from Syracuse University College of Law where he was an editor of the Syracuse Law Review and his article was selected for publication. He earned his bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo. Shane was an Associate at Norfolk Beier and served as a Corporate Counsel for Bed Bath & Beyond. Prior to law school, Shane worked as paralegal and office manager of a 43-employee Rochester law firm, overseeing daily operations.

Outside of the office, Shane enjoys reading and exploring the beauty of the Finger Lakes region and can often be found hiking local trails or kayaking. Above all, Shane values spending time with his wife, their daughter, and their dog, Sally.

Piper earned her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College. We are excited to have her join our team in our St. Croix office.
