I’ve been involved with a good deal of community advocacy work in Syracuse, NY, most especially dealing with youth who are incarcerated and unable to afford private legal counsel. Though David Zukher, attorney at law, is by far, one of the best defense attorneys in Onondaga County, his generosity of service beyond his private practice, as a public defender, is beyond parallel. I just witnessed his advocacy for a family friend who is in desperate need of inpatient mental health services, but whose case required that a judge sign off on these services, to ensure both his eligibility and his admission to a program.
Dave worked tirelessly to acquire the best possible resolution for his client; he gained the cooperation of the district attorney, the plaintiffs, and his young client and was persistent with his efforts, despite the judge’s reluctance to sign the necessary documents.
Dave even went so far as to retain a well-established psychiatrist to evaluate his young client’s mental health status and this meant carving out numerous additional hours away from his private practice services.
Clearly, it’s his devotion to the law, to the well-being of his clients, regardless of their financial status, and to the public safety of our community that drives his practice. I cannot recommend him highly enough because of his ethics, his expertise, and his professional dedication."

Our firm has adopted a troop out of country consisting of 20 males/8 females. We will be sending out 2 packages Thanksgiving weekend one with snacks and the other with toiletries etc. The troops also enjoy getting cards or letters of support from home. If you would like to contribute to our care package and sign the card, please stop by our office during weekdays & drop off the items you wish to send.

David Zukher and I took some time today to grab some groceries and non perishable food items to bring by the Recovery Outreach today. Their Sandwich Saturdays are on hold right now but the pantry is open Thurs, Fri & Sat. Please consider helping out if you can. During the "Pause" in NYS, our office will be closed. All of us have access to our voice mail and emails from home. Court dates have been adjourned but for emergent procedures. If you have a legal emergency during this time, please email or leave a voice mail message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
