As a Commercial Property Manager, we see these common mistakes which are often costly to an uninformed tenant; thus, ultimately leading to financial hardships and/or business closure. Understanding the terms of the lease, what CAM includes, how CAM is allocated, tenant buildout costs prior to signing, etc., is fundamental in the success of a tenant. These mistakes can by avoided by engaging an Agent/Attorney that will not only represent the tenant, but educate the tenant.
