McKinney is getting a giant $334 million music venue featuring Las Vegas Sphere-style screens.
They're building it right near the intersection of US-75 and Highway 121. It's already 70% complete and will hold up to 20,000 people.
But they aren't building a giant ball. Instead, floor-to-ceiling LED screens wrap around the stage, letting them put a virtual, digital performer right next to a live band.
But the screens aren't even the most interesting part.
They can shrink the seating to fit smaller crowds of 5,000, and they're adding wind-walls and heaters to run up to 100 shows year-round.
That extra tech is why the price tag jumped by over $100 million from their original plans.
They're also partnering with Cowboys legend Troy Aikman on a private club right in the center of the seats, and most of their million-dollar luxury suites are already sold out.
Builders are aiming for a temporary permit by April 1, 2027, with public shows starting later that year.
