Peace of mind for $17.95 a month!! August 17, 2020 put a collections notice that put a derogatory message on my credit report taking it down 29 points without notice! I had paid this $360 medical bill in March, 2019. I called my Indiana LegalShield law firm. Mr. Bolin, called the company explaining I had proof of payment to a previous collections agency. Mr. Bolin told me to gather proof of payment. This morning I gathered all the info, sent it to Mr. Bolin. I had asked for the legal section phone number and told the Collection Agency my lawyer would be calling them this afternoon. Before we could make the call, I get a message that Harvard Collection had taken the report off my Credit Report raising my credit report 27 points! How much did this cost me for the attorney? Not one penny! It's free with my LegalShield Legal Plan!!

So thankful for ID Shield! My 89 yr old dad called me today and said I need to go in town right now. So I left immediately to see what to rush was. Dad was shaking so I knew something was wrong. They had gotten a call from Dyer, IN. They answered...I know, they have been told not to but it happened. "How are you feeling? How is your pain? We need your SS number and medicare insurance number. ..." And yes they gave them over the phone what they were asked. Dad said as soon as he hung up he knew he had done wrong but it was too late. I made one call to LegalShield ID Theft and the investigator told us exactly what do to, step by step. ID Theft will tag their SS numbers and continuously scrub the internet to see if anyone tries to open an account in their name. We are so relieved that they had LegalShield ID Theft in place.
Hopefully, they will let the machine pick up calls from now on.
