Your childhood home had WHAT?! 😂🏡
Let’s go back for a minute…
The phone hung on the kitchen wall, and you stretched that curly cord as far as it would go just to have a “private” conversation. Meanwhile, everybody could still hear you. ☎️🤣
There was a wall-mounted pencil sharpener that you cranked by hand. A giant wooden TV that counted as furniture. And sometimes… a newer TV sitting right on top of the old one.
The screen door had a sound you could recognize anywhere, and somebody was ALWAYS hollering, “Quit running in and out!”
Maybe your house had…
👉 A bathroom with pink, green, or blue EVERYTHING.
👉 A floor furnace you learned to step around.
👉 A kitchen drawer full of bread ties, rubber bands, and batteries that may or may not work.
👉 A “good living room” you weren’t allowed to actually live in.
👉 A set of encyclopedias you used for school reports.
👉 A height chart marked in pencil on a doorframe.
👉 That ONE squeaky floorboard that would tell on you every single time. 😂
And you knew which chair belonged to Dad or Grandpa. Nobody had to tell you.
Funny how you can forget what you walked into a room for today… but still remember the exact sound of your grandma’s back door, the pattern on her kitchen floor, or where she kept the cookies. ❤️
