Our elementary cross country program does not receive funding from the school, so support from local businesses and our community makes a real difference for these kids. Race sponsorship funds will be used to help feed and hydrate our runners at meets throughout the season.

📣 We’re looking for sponsors for our next three races! Race sponsors will receive social media recognition while helping make sure our kids have what they need on race day. If you, your business, or someone you know would like to sponsor one of our upcoming races, please reach out!

Houston, Thompson and Lewis, PC is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our team in Scottsburg, Indiana.

This position combines front office responsibilities with legal assistant duties, including assisting with our busy real estate practice.
Responsibilities include:

* Greeting clients and visitors
* Answering phones and scheduling appointments
* Preparing legal documents and correspondence
* Assisting with residential and commercial real estate closings
* Coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and real estate agents
* Managing files and helping attorneys with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks
* Providing exceptional customer service while helping keep the office running efficiently

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people. Prior legal or real estate experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $12.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

🇺🇸 Office Closure Notice – Juneteenth

In observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day, Houston, Thompson and Lewis and Hoosier Title will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on our nation’s history, celebrate freedom, and honor the resilience and contributions of African Americans throughout our communities and country.

Our offices will reopen and resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

We appreciate your understanding and wish everyone a safe, meaningful, and enjoyable Juneteenth.
