I know there's fear. ICE is here in the area, and a lot of people don't want to go to court because of that. I understand.

But sometimes you have to push through and try to move forward, even with that fear. Because if you don't fight for your case, nobody's going to do it for you.

And if you're afraid to go to court, I can go for you. That's what I'm here for.

---

If we hadn't stepped in, she would have been blamed for the accident forever. They would have kept the lawsuit going against her. And no one would have realized they were suing the wrong person.

But when we came in and showed them she wasn't at fault, they dropped the lawsuit. They realized they needed to sue the driver who actually caused the accident, not my client.

That's why it's so important to get help. Because without a lawyer, sometimes the truth never comes out.

A Hispanic client got rear-ended and broke his arm. The accident wasn't his fault, but he was driving without a license. The police gave him a ticket.

I handled everything. We got him a good amount of money for his injuries. And on top of that, I went to court with him and resolved his traffic infraction.

I know there's fear. ICE is here in the area. That's why I can now go to court for you without you having to go. But sometimes you have to push through the fear to come out ahead.

If you get hurt at work, you have RIGHTS. Whether you're here legally or illegally in this country. You have rights under the laws here.

Most of my clients are people who get injured at work, and the employer doesn't give them the medical attention the law requires. Doesn't pay them the wages the law requires. And sometimes employers take advantage of them because they know those people don't know the language and don't know the laws.

Under Georgia law, under civil law, and labor laws, you have rights. If you have any legal problems, always talk to me. I can advise you.

Y me ofrezco a traducir.

Es algo que hago con mucho gusto. Es darle de regreso a la raza.

My parents are from Mexico. I saw how they suffered in this country. And there are still people who try to take advantage of them.

That's why I do what I do. It's not anger. It's passion.

My immigrant clients sometimes don't know the language, don't know their rights, and don't have other resources. I know that sometimes I'm the only resource they have. And if I can't help you because it's not my area of law, I'll help you find a lawyer who can. And I'll offer to translate.

It's something I do gladly. It's giving back to la raza.

---

Before I was a lawyer, I worked for insurance companies.

I was an adjuster. My job was to talk to people after an accident and try to pay them as little as possible. I was that person. I know exactly how the other side works.

That's why I'm on your side now.

---

When the insurance company calls you, don't talk to them. Absolutely nothing.

I know because before I was a lawyer, I worked for insurance companies. I was an adjuster. I was the one they sent to talk to people and try to offer them as little as possible. The amount they offer you is always very low. They do it because they're trying to take advantage before you can say no.

Get a lawyer. ALWAYS get a lawyer, even if it's not us.

Contenta. Feliz. Y me trajo unas empanadas para decirme gracias.

Si no sabes a quién llamar, llámanos. Estamos aquí.

She didn't know any lawyers in Savannah who spoke Spanish and worked in this area of law.

That's why she came to me. And I was able to help her. We won her case. Last month, she came to pick up her last check. Happy. At peace. And she brought me empanadas to say thank you.

If you don't know who to call, call us. We're here.

Busca ayuda.

The police blamed her.

A Hispanic woman from Mexico, who didn't speak any English, was in a car accident. She got hit. She was seriously injured. And when the police came, they put the blame on her. The blame for the accident.

And after that, they sued her.

She came to me, and I filed a counterclaim. I deposed the other driver, pulled the documents, and I was able to determine that the person who caused the accident was the other driver, not my client. They reassigned the fault to the guy.

Thank God and thanks to our work, we reached a settlement. If they blame you for something that wasn't your fault, don't stay silent. Get help.
