: Meet Ashleigh T. Rasheed-Britt, an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Her practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, catastrophic injury cases, and municipal and county liability defense. Ashleigh also represents physicians sued in medical malpractice cases and businesses involved in complex business disputes. She is also a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ashleigh graduated summa cm laude from Georgia Southern University in 2016 in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. She was also a student athlete for the Georgia Southern University Women’s Track and Field team, specializing in the heptathlon, and the triple and long jump. Ashleigh also earned her M.A. in Social Science from Georgia Southern University in 2018.

Ashleigh earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2022. While in law school, Ashleigh served as Vice President of the Davenport-Benham Black Law School Association, 1L President of the Student Bar Association, and was an active member of the moot court team. Ashleigh was also an inaugural recipient of the Robert E. “Robbie” Robinson Scholarship Award. She worked as a summer associate with Oliver Maner in 2021.

Outside of the firm, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family and friends and volunteering in the community.

: Meet Kelvin Goodson, an associate in the firm’s litigation department. His practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and catastrophic injury cases. Kelvin also represents physicians sued in medical malpractice cases and businesses involved in complex business disputes.

A native of Claxton, Georgia, Kelvin graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Sound Design. He then attended Liberty University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor, cm laude, in 2023. While in law school, Kelvin was a summer clerk for the Honorable D. Jay Stewart in 2021, and he was a summer associate for Oliver Maner in 2022.

During law school, Kelvin was a member of Liberty’s Law Review where he served on the editorial board as the symposium editor. He also competed with the law school’s Negotiation Team, participating in the American Bar Association’s national negotiation tournament in 2022.
Kelvin is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Outside of the firm, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

: Meet Kate Daly Cobb, an associate in Oliver Maner’s litigation department whose practice concentrates on disputes involving estates, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships, and fiduciaries. In addition, she handles a variety of business and commercial disputes involving contracts and business torts. Her other practice areas include personal injury defense, property litigation, creditor representation, and she represents local municipal governments in a range of matters.

A native of Savannah, Kate graduated from Savannah Country Day School in 2016 before earning her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Creative Writing from the College of Charleston. Kate earned her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Kate was involved in the Association for Women Law Students, the Mercer Trial Lawyers Association, Phi Delta Phi, and was an active member of the Mock Trial and Arbitration teams. In 2020, she was the recipient of Judge Phyllis Kravitch Memorial Scholarship, given to her by the Savannah Bar Association. For her participation in advocacy programs, she was inducted into the Order of Barristers upon graduation.

Kate is currently on the board of Savannah Young Lawyers Division and the board of the Savannah Chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She also serves as a Regional Coordinator for the Georgia High School Mock Trial Program under the State Bar of Georgia. Outside of the firm, Kate enjoys boating, wing shooting, and entertaining friends and family. She also has a passion for low-country wildlife and habitat preservation.

: Meet Katie Summerford, an associate in Oliver Maner’s transactional department who focuses on corporate law, estate planning, trusts, probate, tax planning and business planning.

Katie was born and raised here in Savannah, attending Savannah Country Day School and graduating from Savannah Arts Academy. She earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2022, where she served as president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. During her time in law school, she was also involved in the Student Bar Association, Business Law Society, Christian Legal Society, National Lawyers Guild, and was a Kaplan Bar Representative. Prior to law school, Katie graduated magna cm laude from Mercer University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Psychology and Communication Studies.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Coastal Gardens, a non-profit organization that supports the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. Katie is currently a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, the Young Lawyers Division of the Savannah Bar Association, and serves on the Ribbon Cutting Taskforce for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. Outside of the firm, she volunteers her time tutoring college students studying for the LSAT and law school students studying for the Bar Exam.

Jim recently had the privilege of helping Lee’s son, Jake Summerford, and his fiancée, Riley Johns, purchase their first home... Just as he did for Jake’s parents years ago.
