The Salt Lake Tribune did an excellent job in following up on their coverage of our client's lawsuit against the University of Utah for failing to make last year's Post Malone Concert at Rice Eccles stadium.

This lawsuit has a happy ending since the client and attorney Jared Allebest were able to attend this year's Post Malone concert and see the agreed upon ADA improvements in action.

Nearly a year after filing a lawsuit against the University of Utah, alleging the school violated the Americans with Disabilities Act, Ison Sewell has dropped the case. Here are the changes the U. has made since.

Last year, our firm represented a deaf individual who sued the University of Utah due to the lack of an available ADA coordinator and accommodations after he was not able to attend Post Malone’s April 2025 concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

We are happy to inform you that the Deaf client, along with Deaf attorney Mr. Allebest, were able to attend the Post Malone concert last night as part of a settlement agreement with the University of Utah.

The University of Utah provided ASL interpreters and ADA seating for last night's concert.

This concert is evidence of our firm's success in advocating for the rights of the Deaf and hard of hearing.
