September in SLO County: more homes closed, but fewer buyers signed new contracts.

240 homes sold, up from 222 in August, while homes going under contract dropped from 214 to 168. The median sale price held steady at $888K (down from $899K), and the median home took 30 days to sell, up from 21.

What it means: prices are holding, but buyers are taking more time and negotiating a bit more. Well-priced homes are still moving fast.
