At the SF Senior Roundtable at Frank Residences we heard from Dr. Kira Savin of California Hearing Center. Thank you Dr. Savin, for sharing so much about hearing, hearing loss, and what we all can do to help our seniors stay engaged in conversation and in their community for longer.

The skies over Crissy Field stayed gray for the Fleet Week kickoff. We could hear the jets roaring overhead, even if we couldn't see them. ✈️🇺🇸

A will does not avoid probate. A funded trust does.

Probate is the court process that validates a will and distributes an estate — 12 to 18 months, roughly 4–8% of the estate's value, and entirely public. The difference isn't the will. It's the funded trust: a plan where the home and accounts are actually titled in the trust's name.

Three questions tell you if you're probate-ready: Is the deed in the trust's name? Do the accounts belong to the trust? Do the beneficiary forms name the right people? Check before December.

What a wonderful evening. 💛

We were honored to attend the 2nd Annual Skyline Soiree, hosted by Chrishel Divinagracia of Luxe Realty Group, together with IV League — Private RN Society. The view of San Francisco was beautiful, and it was a pleasure to meet so many kind people.

Chrishel brought together folks from real estate, nursing, and other fields — all with the same goal: helping families in our community get the support and guidance they need.

That is very close to our hearts at Greene Law Firm, P.C. We help people plan for the future with wills, trusts, and important documents like a power of attorney and healthcare directive. It's not always an easy topic to think about, but it brings real peace of mind — and everyone can benefit from having a plan in place.

Greene Law Firm, P.C. joined the LGBTQ+ Community Partnership at Rhoda Goldman Plaza for an in-person meeting focused on power of attorney and healthcare directives — two of the most overlooked but essential protections for our community.

Grateful to stand alongside Daniel Frias Vidal (Chair), Allison Rodman (Co-Chair), and presenters Cecilia A. Rodriguez, Esq. (La Raza Centro Legal) and Tiffany Huyenh-Cho (Justice in Aging), along with our partners at Institute on Aging, Suncrest, and the SF Department of Disability and Aging Services.

🎉 Celebrating 50 years of CASE (Coalition of Agencies Serving the Elderly)!

Our team was honored to attend CASE's 50th Anniversary celebration at Ruth's Table in San Francisco, representing Greene Law Firm, P.C. Fifty years of advocating for older adults and adults with disabilities in our community is no small thing — and it showed in every volunteer and organization recognized that afternoon.

It was inspiring to be surrounded by people who've spent decades showing up for San Francisco's seniors. It reminded us why elder care and advocacy matter so much to our own work, and it's inspired us to keep finding ways to carry that torch forward.

Thank you, CASE, for having us — for the great food, w**e, and music from Ken Little and the CMC Neighborhood Bayview Senior Choir, and Martha Rodríguez-Salazar & Jennifer Peringer. We can't wait to see what the next 50 years bring. 💛
