Short-term: 4.10%
Mid-term: 4.35%
Long-term: 4.92%

The Section 7520 rate, used in many estate planning transactions, is 5.20%.

The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys is excited to welcome David K. Cahoone, J.D., LL.M. as our new Director of Education.

David brings more than three decades of experience in estate planning, charitable planning, and tax strategy, along with a career spent training attorneys nationwide. He will step into the role full time this July, and Members will get their first chance to meet him at the Fall Summit, October 15 to 18 in San Diego.

We are grateful to Tereina Stidd for five years of dedicated leadership in this department, and we look forward to what comes next for our Education Department.
