We're honored to be featured in the latest edition of the San Diego Lawyer Journal!

A heartfelt thank you to the San Diego County Bar Association for highlighting the important role of pro bono immigration legal services, and to Pro Bono volunteer attorney Edward McIntyre for writing such a thoughtful feature on Casa Cornelia Law Center and our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality legal representation to survivors of human and civil rights violations.

For more than 30 years, our staff and volunteer attorneys have worked to ensure that asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, and survivors of violent crimes have access to justice, due process, and hope. We're grateful to everyone who makes this work possible—especially the volunteer attorneys who generously share their time and expertise to change lives.

As we celebrate Independence Day and mark 250 years of our nation’s history, we reflect on the enduring ideals of liberty, justice, and equality—and the responsibility we share to uphold them for all.

At Casa Cornelia Law Center, these values guide our work every day as we provide compassionate, pro bono legal services to asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, and survivors of violence seeking safety, dignity, and hope.

This Fourth of July, we honor the promise of freedom and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that access to justice and human rights remain within reach for the most vulnerable among us.

Wishing our community a safe and meaningful Independence Day. 🇺🇸
