Calling future lawyers, leaders, and advocates in San Diego! We are excited to be one of the law firms participating in the 8-week program to host a Scholar this summer. Details below: 👇

Applications are now open until June 3 for the Garcia Hong Law Summer Law Exploration Academy, an 8-week program designed for high school and college students interested in the legal profession, leadership, and public service.

June 15 - August 6, 2026

Students will gain real-world exposure to the legal field through:
• Hands-on experience with solo practitioners and small law firms
• Networking opportunities with attorneys, judges, and legal professionals
• Visits to the San Diego Superior Court and Southern District of California
• Guest speakers and career development workshops
• Resume and mock interview training
• Community service opportunities with Feeding San Diego and Food From the Bar
• Capstone presentations and scholarship opportunities

Participants will also hear directly from judges and attorneys across San Diego, including leaders in civil, criminal, immigration, appellate, and federal practice.

This program is designed to help students build confidence, leadership skills, and professional connections while exploring careers in law and advocacy.
