*CALL FOR ARTISTS*

Town of East Spencer is inviting artists to apply to complete a "Welcome to East Spencer" mural as the Town prepares for their 125-year celebration. The project includes a $2,750 stipend for the selected artist(s).

The Town of East Spencer is requesting concepts for a 4’ x 8’ “Welcome to East Spencer” mural that reflects East Spencer’s beauty, history, and the town’s positive growth.

Applications close June 3rd. The Selected Artist will be notified on June 10th, and the project must be completed by June 29th, 2026.

We are ecstatic to announce the second annual Meet the Artist Festival and this year's Featured Artists!

Come out June 13th from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. to experience a wide range of visual and performing artists, meet this year's 35 Featured Artists and be a part of the incredible art community in Rowan County!

Rowan Arts Council created this festival to empower and highlight Rowan County's local artists by providing a platform to express, share, and sell their art. Last year's response was overwhelmingly positive and we are excited to do it all again!

Where: Livingstone Hospitality Campus (530 Jake Alexander BLVD S, Salisbury)
When: June 13, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is free to attend!
