Did you know: Minnesotaās DUI Laws recently changed šØ
Hereās whatās new:
š Revocation periods are getting longer for repeat offenders.
š Ignition interlock use is expanding. Depending on your history, you may need to use the device for: 2 years for one prior offense, 6 years for two offenses, 10 years for three or more offenses.
š The lookback period for prior offenses has doubledāfrom 10 to 20 years.
But hereās the nuance: this only applies to first and second offenses. Once someone reaches a third offense in their lifetime, the lookback period no longer matters.
