At some point, nearly every family law case will attempt to resolve disputed issues through alternative dispute resolution (ADR). I provide mediation, Early Neutral Evaluation and parenting consulting services, in addition to my work as an attorney.

I am still performing most services by Zoom, but willing to have in person sessions if everyone is vaccinated and tests prior to session. I have found, however, that most people prefer the convenience of Zoom.

Please contact me to find out more information about my ADR services.

We cannot fully “news proof” our home when unsettling events happen in the world, but we can help kids navigate what they hear through simple, responsive, reassuring conversations.

The year is nearly over, and what a year it has been. Let’s hope that the coming year brings health and peace and a return to more normal routines.

My firm is taking on new family law clients, and I also have capacity for additional parenting consulting cases.

Need an ENE? Mediation? I can help with that as well.

If you would like to schedule an initial phone consultation regarding representation in a family law matter, or would like to inquire about available dates for ENE or mediation, please contact me at 952-224-7208 or at [email protected].

Have a safe and happy New Year!

During the COVID-19 crisis, my law firm is open for business and assisting clients with all of their family law needs. But, our physical office is closed at this time and I am working remotely from home.

I can receive email communications at [email protected], which I monitor regularly throughout the day. You can also leave a voicemail at 952-224-7208, and I will return your call within 48 hours.

Through the use of Zoom video conferencing, I am also still providing Alternative Dispute Resolution services, such as mediation and Early Neutral Evaluations.

These are certainly challenging times and we are all having to find creative ways to continue to do our work, and to just engage in life and social activity where direct physical contact is not possible or recommended.

But we will get through this. Be safe. Stay home. Stay connected to loved ones by phone or Zoom, especially those who may already be isolated by age or illness.

Thank you.

Going to court to resolve parenting disputes is expensive and time-consuming. And in the current crisis, getting into court for a decision may be delayed. But there are other options for helping you resolve parenting disputes.

I offer Parenting Consulting (PC)services to parents who need help with decision-making after their court case is done. It is an alternative dispute resolution process that grants authority to the PC to make decisions that fall under her scope of authority. Parties split the cost for a PC, and the PC is able to provide a binding decision quickly when issues arise. Both parties have to agree to use a PC.

Just a reminder that while we are observing social distancing and the Governor’s Stay-at-Home order, we are still providing legal and alternative dispute resolution services to clients. Our physical office remains closed, but you can still reach me by phone and email.

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this really challenging and uncertain time. We will get through this.

In addition to representing family law clients, I also provide mediation and other alternative dispute resolution services. I am able to offer services via Zoom for mediations and Early Neutral Evaluations in order to allow parties to continue to move their cases forward while observing the social distancing recommendations from CDC and the MN Dept of Health. This can be done effectively and the logistics are not that complicated.

The Courts are suspending hearings on certain types of cases that are not considered Super High Priority or High Priority, so focusing on dispute resolution outside of Court is a good strategy for all to consider.

If you are interested in distance alternative dispute resolution services, contact us at 952-224-7208 or [email protected].
