The Town of Benoit has spoken, and I respect and appreciate the confidence that has been placed in me.

At this time, I will be stepping away from social media and returning my full attention to the responsibilities I have been entrusted to carry out as Municipal Court Judge and as an attorney.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who offered support, encouragement, prayers, and kindness during the past several days.

George Washington wrote, “The bosom of America is open to receive not only the opulent and respectable stranger, but the oppressed and persecuted of all nations and religions.” Those words reflect one of our nation’s enduring ideals: that people should be judged by their character and their commitment to the values that unite us.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg once said, “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “People should be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

My focus remains where it has always been: serving my community, upholding the Constitution, and faithfully performing the duties of the office I have been given.
