We've all got a shelf of stories our kids have outgrown, and Children's Book Bank at SMART Reading turns them into bundles of 14 that Portland kids get to keep, some building their very first home library.

Once a month, we spend one hour packing lunches that are distributed through Blanchet House to neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout Portland.

It’s simple, meaningful, and one of our favorite ways to bring people together.
