When your family is going through one of its most vulnerable moments, compassionate care can stay with you long after you leave the hospital. 💙

When twins Frances and Caroline arrived seven weeks early, their parents, Nate Corddry and Jess Russell, found comfort and support in the care of our NICU team.

“The doctors and nurses did not just care for our babies — they carried us through one of the most vulnerable times of our lives,” Nate shared. Their family chose to say thank you with a Grateful Hearts gift honoring the team that cared for them.

Want to protect your bones, brain and independence as you age? Start now. Healthy aging is something we can actively work toward at every stage of life.

In a new blog post Bryan Jick, MD, with Fair Oaks Women’s Health, shares what we should know about three important pieces of healthy aging: hormone health, strong bones and a healthy brain. The habits we build, the health risks we pay attention to and the preventive care we prioritize can all make a difference in how we feel as we get older.

From strength training and nutrition to sleep, social connection and preventive care, small steps today can help protect our health and independence for years to come.

There’s a new furry face making rounds at Huntington! 🐾💙 Meet Meghan, a Labrador Retriever, and her owner, Katherine—the newest members of our Pet-Assisted Therapy Program.

Together, they’re joining our wonderful group of four-legged friends and dedicated handlers who bring comfort to our patients every day. And behind every wagging tail is a community that makes this program possible.

For more than 20 years, the Thornton S. Glide, Jr. and Katrina D. Glide Foundation has generously supported Huntington’s Pet-Assisted Therapy program, helping ensure these meaningful moments of connection can continue for our patients, visitors and staff.

We’re so grateful for their longstanding partnership, and very happy to have Meghan and Katherine as part of the Huntington family!
