Our law firm is headquartered in the Morgan Stanley Tower. We have deep roots in Ventura County, beginning in 1913 when Mark Durley, a young attorney from Illinois, opened his law office in Oxnard, California. Mark Durley, along with his eventual partners, ably represented the farmers and ranchers of the then primarily agricultural communities of Oxnard and Camarillo. Our firm has achieved the highest possible legal rating in the national attorney directory of Martindale-Hubbell. All of our trial partners are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the select group of our country’s most experienced jury trial attorneys. Templeman, our most senior trial partner, was honored by Trial Lawyers For Public Justice as one of the top ten trial counsels in the United States, and has achieved outstanding verdicts in most areas of civil trials. The firm’s trial lawyers recovered the largest jury verdict in California history for health insurance bad faith, and have obtained multiple recoveries in excess of a million dollars in the areas of personal injury, real estate, business disputes, product liability, employment law, estates and trusts, and construction law litigation. Our client profile includes a wide spectrum of businesses and individuals throughout the region. This diversity reflects the distinctive legal expertise and experience of our attorneys, as well as our firm’s commitment to Ventura County and the Central Coast. Our firm’s mission is to provide our clients with high quality and cost-effective legal services in the areas of our practice.
