Top 5 US Cities Where Homes Are Selling Slower

Across the top 50 US metros, median days on market rose from about 52 to 60.6 days. That is roughly +8.6 days (+16.5%) for Aug 2025 vs Aug 2024. In this video, I count down the five cities with the biggest increases.

Why this matters: higher days on market often means more selection, more time to decide, and better odds of seller credits or price reductions. It can signal cooler demand or more inventory. Your leverage still varies by neighborhood and price point.
