🚨 On Saturday, July 25, the Fountain Valley Police Department will conduct a DUI and Driver License Checkpoint on Brookhurst St. near Heil Ave.

🚙 Checkpoint locations are selected based on data identifying areas with a history of impaired driving-related crashes and are conducted to improve public safety.

🍺💊 Remember, impairment isn’t limited to alcohol. Prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and ma*****na can all impair your ability to drive. While ma*****na may be legal, driving under its influence is not.

💵 A first-time DUI can result in an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, along with a suspended driver’s license.
